My attic fan works,and didn't shut down once the sun went down, so if I wasn't home would still run all night.
I bought this because the price wasn't too bad. I am very happy with it. It works consistently, and I measured the temperature in my attic and the fan runs things well.
If you have a steep roof, I would suggest hiring a professional. But the fan itself works very well.
This is a solid fan. We've had ours running for over a year and it is very quiet, sometimes it's difficult to know when it's running but every time I check it (which isn't that often) it's running like a champ.
I can feel the air being pushed out when I'm on the roof. Also, it's been through a full year's weather and the black has not faded.
